I have had the pleasure of working closely with Caring for Kansas Medical Staffing for quite a few years now. I think I may have become acquainted with them very near to their original inception. They provide a very needed service to our health care delivery system, and they provide this in a very professional and conscientious manner. In my surgery practice that involves several small rural hospitals, it can be very difficult, if not impossible, to find staffing that is well trained and knowledgable. Caring for Kansas has helped me consistently fill that void, making services available to our small communities that would be difficult, if not impossible without them. They are consistently a pleasure to be associated with!

Sometimes you have to worry about travelers, but when our organization receives an employee from CFK, I do not think twice about their professionalism, quality, or compassion that we are going to receive.

Caring for Kansas (CFK) the best local agency in town, very independent scheduling and great pay … The CEOs are also ICU nurses, they understand us well and treat us very nice … Been with them for 2 years, there’s always hours, pretty much all hospitals in town and out of town … You will be glad to have them on your side.

I absolutely love it. It allows me to gain knowledge and experience on new surgeries and different types of medications and patients outside of what I would typically see at my other job! The pay is great, the flexibility is amazing, but the best part is the other agency nurses you are able to work along side as well as the owners of the company! Cody and Stephanie Ungles are wonderful to work for and I truly enjoy being a part of their company! Competitive pay, great owners, small company feel, and several facilities to pick from … see them (shifts) immediately and pick them up if it fits your schedule! That way you don’t feel pressured into taking a shift.
